Samsung Pay is coming to the US and Korea in the summer.

MST is the magnetic stripe technology Samsung got when it bought LoopPay.
Samsung Pay can be used anywhere that you can pay with a credit card, debit card or NFC. So it's still using NFC.
Hah, Samsung completely slammed NFC for mobile payments. No retailers support it, they say.
"We didn't want to go with a built-in battery until we were absolutely sure that the technology was right. We felt the same way about mobile payments."
Brighter in low-light doesn't mean universally better, as users of HTC's UltraPixel cameras will attest, but it's an encouraging sign.
Optical image stabilization and an f/1.9 lens on the rear of the S6, resulting in much brighter low-light photography and video than Apple's iPhones.
Rear camera has a 16MP sensor and the "same amazingly bright f/1.9 lens."
Now here's an actual comparison to the iPhone 6!
Here we go with a demo of a selfie taken in a "dimly lit bar." Alas, no comparison shot from a competing smartphone to show how much better the demo is.
5MP front-facing camera with f/1.9 lens and increased pixel size (43% larger). Better low-light photography, including real-time HDR. "Another. World. First."

Basically, it's okay for Samsung to not have a removable battery because the S6 recharges like a demon and has wireless charging too. Which I think I agree with.
Compatible with both WPC and PMA wireless charging standards.
"Others have sacrificed convenience for design but not us."
The S6 ia 6.8mm thick, but manages to squeeze in built-in wireless charging as well.
"We didn't want to have a built-in battery until we felt absolutely sure about users feeling comfortable about recharging their device."
Gives you a 4-hour charge in 10 minutes and recharges to full in half the time than the iPhone 6 takes.
Samsung's charging is "faster than any other phone in the industry."
Seriously, though, 1080p (as with the 5-inch HTC One M9) is plentiful for almost every human. I'm willing to believe Samsung's claim that this is the best screen in the world, but I don't think that cramming in every pixel possible is the route to that goal.
11 percent higher pixel density than the Galaxy Note 4 that's in my pocket. It feels dated already.

She hands off to a gent who's going to talk to us about the S6's performance. The fist bump between them was about 75% successful.
That means that without ever lifting the phone, you'll know who you got a message from. It looks kinda like those lights at the bottom rim of tricked-out cars, just a glow emanating from the bottom.
You can assign Edge colors for up to five contacts.
The camera interface now includes new labels and "the most wonderful part of all: no scrolling!" She was excited, the crowd wasn't.
"Lag or stuttering is gone. More than anything, these devices are insanely responsive."
She's talking about simplifying the Samsung UI. A lot of Material Design action going on. A lot of menu simplification and "streamlined interface."

We'll start with a look at the new design. Also notable, Samsung's calling out enterprise security as a major feature here. But anyhow, design!

The time has come and gone, but Samsung's keeping the peaceful music rolling, interspersing some teasers, and taking its time. That's cool, we can be patient.
Dan thinks the downtempo techno is getting my emotions going. He's probably right. But seriously, Samsung's acting like a company with taste now. It's... unusual.
HTC already caused me sorrow with the flawed One M9. I kinda need Samsung's phone to not suck.
Only this time the music's awesome, the teasers are enticing, and — if that trend is to be extended to its logical extreme — the new Galaxy won't be an interstellar disappointment like the last one.
Samsung's venue hasn't changed from last year, it's still a massive cavern overflowing with curious humanity.
